Linesville Borough is seeking funding from the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) and is requesting a categorical exclusion from environmental review for a drinking water system improvements project. The project is located within Linesville Borough and a portion of Pine Township, Crawford County and consists of the replacement and installation of approximately 7,000 linear feet of waterline within existing roadways, including service connections, fire hydrants, valves, roadway restoration, and sidewalk restoration. Construction will generally take place along South Mercer and Penn Street. User fees could increase by up to 60% as a result of debt associated with the project. Construction plans and specifications, as well as the PENNVEST application, are available for review at the Linesville Borough Office, 103 West Erie Street, Linesville, PA 16424. Written comments may be submitted to Linesville Borough, PO Box 145, Linesville, PA 16424 for thirty (30) days from the date of this publication.
